01 / OUR FIRST CREATION

Meet the original.

THE SAUCE THAT STARTED IT ALL

A lively red-pepper hot sauce with a balanced bite and the kind of tangy depth that makes you reach for another dash.

Our first recipe centers on fermented peppers and a flavor-first approach. The Original DesertDog — Hot version is our starting point, with planned milder and hotter variations to suit different tastes.

Product descriptions are development goals; final recipes, packaging, ingredients, and availability may change.

02 / MAKE IT YOUR HEAT

Every palate.
Its own fire.

Flavor comes first, but there's no reason everyone needs the same amount of heat. Explore the planned range for our red-pepper sauce.

EXPLORE HEAT LEVELS Concept preview

Original DesertDog — Hot

Our baseline: bold pepper flavor and a satisfying, familiar table-sauce heat. A little bite without losing the taste of the peppers.

Heat is a relative development guide, not a laboratory-verified Scoville rating.

04 / THE APPROACH

Good flavor
takes time.

Fermentation isn't just a step. It's part of the flavor we're developing, bringing depth to the peppers instead of covering them up.

  1. 01
    Start with real peppers

    Build from ingredients worth tasting.

  2. 02
    Let fermentation do its work

Develop layers of flavor with a controlled process.

  3. 03
    Balance the finish

Find the right mix of tang, pepper and heat.

  4. 04
    Validate before selling

Complete food-safety, packaging and labeling work before launch.

THERE'S MORE ON THE WORKBENCH

And that's just the beginning.

Fermented mustards, pepper creations, vegetables and other small-batch experiments may eventually join the lineup. We like good ideas—and we're not afraid to try a new one.
